Dr Lifshitz is a registered Israel patent attorney (Israel Patent Attorney Reg. No. 184), who has run a patent department in one of Israel's largest patent attorney offices.

She has broad experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in fields ranging from biotechnology, through chemistry, medical devices, semiconductors to internet marketing.

Dr. Lifshitz was born and educated in London, England and holds a B.Sc. in biochemical engineering from University College London. She studied industrial engineering and management at Cambridge University, and then studied towards a M.Sc. in Applied Microbiology and a Ph.D. in Biotechnology/Applied Chemistry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.

She has broad academic experience and was a visiting lecturer/ professor at UCL, Shenkar School of Engineering and Design, and Hadassah College. Her industrial expertise includes technology transfer from R&D into industrial scale projects in biotechnology and microelectronics, and was employed by Koor Chemicals, Sigma Chemicals and AVX.
