Elie is a both a very experienced lawyer (20 years of civil service) and a registered Rabbi (and army captain) His experience includes having served as a senior departmental manager in the legal department in the Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Religious affairs. His experience in drafting contracts and filing for bids is extensive, coupled with arbitration/mediation on behalf of various government bodies.

Elie was also a lecturer in company law and commercial law for over ten years at the Jerusalem College of Technology, Accountancy Department.
